In 100 Words… July 13, 2013

Today marked a fresh start to both the Brooklyn Nets and the Boston Celtics. Boston had just jettisoned future Hall of Famers Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett in order to begin the painful process known as rebuilding. Boston emerged as the winner of this trade, because they brought in youth and financial flexibility in order to target potential free agents in at least three years. While winning won’t come soon, they hope that their youngsters will blossom into future stars.
