In 100 Words… July 20, 2013

This Monday will be the fourth State of the Nation Address delivered by President Noynoy Aquino. And as with every SONA, media coverage will be at its most intense, with every Filipino mediamen involved in this annual occasion. The entire afternoon following the noontime variety shows (e.g. Eat Bulaga, Showtime, Wowowillie) will be devoted entirely to this coverage, thus no daytime dramas will be aired during the SONA.

Once again the President will make promises, report on last year’s accomplishments, and correct his own mistakes. The question is, will his hopes and dreams hold true for next year’s SONA? We’ll see, but for now, we wish the President the best of luck come Monday.
