In 100 Words: The Metro Bus Problem

A bus ban in Manila, and then a bus terminal in Paranaque. The past few weeks have been a headache for commuters, who were forced to spend extra cash for another mode of transportation after the Manila bus ban. Ditto provincial commuters, who were forced to take the Metro buses first after the banning of provincial buses along EDSA.

Both the Manila City Council and the MMDA have a purpose in these rules: to decongest Metro Manila and alleviate traffic in major roads. But they should first consult the most important member: the commuter. In this way any traffic problem will be solved. Good luck to the MMDA for ironing out these problems.
