The Pasion de Amor remake has been hinted to for a long time for the weekday afternoon block. Some time ago a Pasion de Amor cast member said the title of the telenovela on GGV.

The remake will be under the RSB unit, known for month-long tapings before premiering.

Is Flordeliza (also under RSB unit) rumored to end soon?

    • Indeed there’s still a lot more work to do. They should have been taking advantage of some viewers’ dissatisfaction over the extremely long and dragging storylines of The Half-Sisters and Yagit, but they haven’t done that because the Kapuso viewers continue to tune in. Mag-iisang taon na ang The Half-Sisters, pero andyan pa rin, as if never-ending ang istorya ito.

Another reason why Pasion ended up in the afternoon was Bridges of Love. The latter only started last month, leaving ABS with no choice but to move Pasion to the afternoon. In addition, the lead stars were considered ‘B’ actors, as in ‘not yet Primetime Bida material’, although Jake Cuenca had been in primetime before.

    • We’ll find out soon enough. They’re possibly sticking to only two local teleseryes in the afternoon due to regional programming in the provinces.

      • JRDV says:

yep, lalo na ang early airing ng Kapamilya Deal or No Deal at 4:30 and regional TV Patrol at 5:20.

      • Kaya nga hanggang dalawang teleserye lang sila sa hapon, tapos Asianovela at KDND kaagad. Yung mga NCA programs advanced airing sa slot ng animes sa RNGs. Kung taga-probinsya ka talagang sobrang affected ang viewing habits mo because of the added regional programs.

      • It won’t be Flordeliza TBH, kahit na bagsak sa The Half-Sisters. The Jolina-Marvin tandem still attracts well notwithstanding the ratings. I’m sensing that NKNKK is getting the boot. After all, it’s just a testing ground for the network’s 18-somethings.

      • honestly it can be both, since the show is not attrcting new viewer groups. maybe KGold should give Sexy Series and Kabit Series instead of family dramas in the said time slots

      • They can only choose one for the meantime. They haven’t announced a new KGold drama yet at this point. As far as your two proposals for sexy and kabitseryes are concerned, we’ll see if that will be convincing enough.

      • yeah bka mas mag hit sa hapon ang provocative at mature seryes. But a JM De Guzman love story and fantasy soap is already in the works, so bka NKNKK nga ang palitan.

“Pasión de Amor” itself is a a remake of Colombian telenovela “Las aguas mansas”, set in the early 20th century.

  3. Gab says:

I am still sure but Pasion de Amor will be premiered within next month. (Inday Bote will end in two weeks time)
