The URCC is now on ABS-CBN Sports.
On Friday, April 1, a broadcast deal was reached between the Universal Reality Combat Championship and ABS-CBN, enabling the latter (through ABS-CBN Sports+Action in SD and HD) to air URCC events. The first URCC fight card on ABS-CBN Sports will be URCC 27: Rebellion on April 23.
The addition of the URCC to the ABS-CBN Sports family should aid in the former’s efforts to further promote their brand of mixed martial arts in the country. More importantly, it should help Kapamilya viewers move on from the loss of the UFC, which moved to Sports5 at the start of this year.
The URCC is founded and owned by Alvin Aguilar, and is considered the biggest MMA promotion in Southeast Asia.

Not only that, the Beach Volleyball Republic games will be aired on S+A, and the 2016 Palarong Pambansa in Albay.
Yes but the deal with URCC is of great significance because even though they’ve been around for 14 years now, TV coverage seem sporadic. ABS-CBN Sports changes that. The deal also enables them to compete with TV5’s MMA offerings such as the UFC (formerly with ABS-CBN) and the PXC.
It is clear that ABS-CBN Sports is giving some opportunities to sporting events that seem overlooked. More on that soon, including the two events that you added.
This is good kasi they can now focus on local sports properties which can be risky but beneficial in the long run.
Especially Palarong Pambansa, which is regularly reported in the news but was never televised on its own until this year. This is the event that paved the way for our current athletes, so it helps that the event will introduce us to up-and-coming sportsmen.

More likely because of the events usually held in biggest cities in Asia. And by the way, there are reports that One FC will also gonna be aired soon on ABS-CBN Sports.
