Another season of ‘Pilipinas Got Talent’ awaits.
Now on its sixth season, ‘Pilipinas Got Talent’ will once again welcome some of the Philippines’ most unique and breathtaking talents. Whether they can sing, dance or perform spectacular and unusual feats of strength and skill, ‘Pilipinas Got Talent’ has them all covered.
Joining in the fun are hosts Billy Crawford and Toni Gonzaga, along with judges Freddie Garcia, Angel Locsin, Robin Padilla and Vice Ganda. Also making its return will be the coveted Golden Buzzer, which will now be used by the hosts as well as the judges to determine which acts will make it straight to the semifinals.
Live auditions for ‘Pilipinas Got Talent’ are currently underway, with the Visayas and Mindanao auditions already finished last month. For its opening salvo this weekend, the Metro Manila auditions will be showcased where the judges evaluate the area’s aspirants.
Last season’s ‘Pilipinas Got Talent’ saw Power Duo emerge as champion, marking the first time in the show’s history that a non-singer won the competition. It also proved that ‘Pilipinas Got Talent’ is more than just a typical sing and dance show, but rather a series in which all unique talents of various fields are given a chance to shine.
If last season was of any indication, then the upcoming sixth season of ‘Pilipinas Got Talent’ should expect more of the same, if not better. That said, it will be interesting to see how this year’s cast will hold their own in front of both the judges and viewers.
Of course, if anyone performs exceptionally well, then the Golden Buzzer will serve as their ultimate ticket to the highest level of competition. With that, good luck to all the up-and-coming acts who will grace the ‘Pilipinas Got Talent’ stage.
‘Pilipinas Got Talent’ season 6 airs every Saturday at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday at 7:30 p.m. on ABS-CBN.

Before Robin Padilla became a judge in PGT 2 years ago, he used to be the host of their Kapatid counterpart, Talentadong Pinoy nearly 4 years ago. Please watch this:
Matagal na natin yan alam. Parang dumarami na ang mga Captain Obvious dito.
Mukhang hindi pa siya nagbabago. So be it. Sorry Kiel but you’re officially BANNED from this blog whether you like it or not. Not only does your latest comment become too obvious, but you also failed to deliver the blog article that you promised. Andami mong violations sa blog na ito and we’ll no longer tolerate such actions.
Ok. I must be changing na.
Too late. The damage is already done. Even if you apologize anew we’ll no longer accept any further comments from you. Like I said you violated one too many rules here and the last comment you did became the last straw. End of story.
Sorry but Talentadong Pinoy with Robin and Mariel as hosts wasn’t that memorable. The one with Ryan Agoncillo will always come to mind when someone mentions that show. Moving on… and please stick with the present tense.
And the only thing that worries the viewers right now is Toni Gonzaga since overexposed na siya on Saturdays with Home Sweetie Home and the new season of PGT airing back to back. I wonder if ABS would do with this kind of situation.
Should have been her sister Alex instead, not her.
Sorry. Wrong grammar. I should have said I wonder what ABS would do with this kind of situation.
I would still make Toni as the main host, Alex is still not good enough to handle this kind of program
Perhaps a change of timeslot is all PGT needed to avoid this predicament. Overexposure of a particular talent is always a big concern for networks like ABS for it causes people to tune out at times. But honestly, Alex needs some experience in a big-time environment, even if her hosting talents aren’t that refined yet. Her older sister should at least guide her along the way.
The reason why Toni became the new co-host of Billy is ayaw na maging komportable ni Luis na magkasama sila with her past girlfriend Angel Locsin and he is also has hosting chores in ICSYV
But in doing so, ABS failed to account the fact na overexposed tuwing Sabado si Toni since may Home Sweetie Home pa siya. It seems like putting Toni on back-to-back shows is no big deal considering how well they’re doing on primetime weekends. Parang wala silang pakialam kung magiging sobra ang exposure ni Toni.
Honestly, ABS needs other talents to step up in the hosting department, lalo na sa mga weekend primetime talent shows. Hindi naman dapat palagi na lang sila Toni, Billy or Luis ang naghohost ng mga talent shows nila.
